SS Wire Mesh Cartridge

S.S. Wire-mesh cartridges are made from S.S. wire-mesh media. Cartridges could be of the cylindrical or pleated type to provide more surface area. The cartridge can be made by welding technology or by using epoxy joints, depending on the applications. Wire thickness is the limit of wire-mesh media. Technology limit does not permit to make wire-mesh media using less than 30 micron wire diameter. Hence, as you go less micron rating, percentage of pore opening (void volume) going down. In case of 10 micron, it remains 3 to 5%. Hence we need to arrange pleated mode surface to give more area to compromise higher flowrate.
